RIOT Documentation: Past, Present and Future
Biography:
Tom is a Bachelor student at the HAW Hamburg, current working on Raspberry RP2350 support in RIOT OS as their bachelor thesis. They are also involved in modernizing and improving the RIOT documentation to be more user-friendly and accessible, through efforts such as the new documentation website and tooling efforts.
Abstract:
The RIOT documentation has been growing steadily over the years, with one major concern being the needs of many different target audiences under the guise of one singular documentation generated through Doxygen. This talk will explore the different past attempts to address these challenges, the current state of the documentation, lessons learned and future directions for making it more inclusive and effective to all users in a feasible way.
