Biography:

Michel is a research associate at the Internet Technologies group at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Michel is working on future technologies and devices for self-sustainable smart urban sensing.

Abstract:

This talk is about completed and ongoing work on dynamic clock configuration on constrained devices and how it unlocks energy efficiency beyond duty-cycled “sleepy nodes”. It covers new concepts and implementations of a clock configuration abstraction layer, methods to formalize the configuration-dependent power consumption of a device, and experimental results for multiple RIOT targets.
