What is the IETF?

The IETF is the Internet Engineering Task Force. The mission of the IETF is to make the Internet work better by producing high quality, relevant technical documents that influence the way people design, use, and manage the Internet. This includes protocols for the IoT. Right after the RIOT Summit the IETF will held its 96th meeting. This meeting is open, and we encourage the RIOT community to stay a bit longer in Berlin to attend.
