Title:
Debugging and Profiling with RIOT OS awareness using TRACE32
Biography:
Richard Copeman has been working with embedded systems since 1988 and has a vast range of experience developing with numerous embedded operating systems across multiple processor architectures. Richard has been working for Lauterbach for 20 years in an engineering role and was responsible for the creation of the RIOT OS awareness, amongst others.
Abstract:
This presentation will show how TRACE32 can be used to effectively debug an embedded system based upon RIOT OS, using the advanced kernel aware features of the debugger. Profiling such a system is an invaluable tools for engineers and can often help identify areas of code that need extra attention or to locate those hard to find bugs that only occur at runtime.
