TinyContainer, an abstraction and resource control layer for containers on RIOT.
Chrystel Gaber received her PhD from University of Caen in 2013 in Computing Systems. After an experience as project coordinator and R&D engineer in Fime, she joined Orange as a researcher & project coordinator. She contributes to several projects related to cyber-physical security, IoT device management and certification. She is the french coordinator of the TinyPART ANR/BMBF project. She also participated in the FP7 project MASSIF and ensured the coordination lead of the CELTIC-PLUS project ODSI. She currently participates in GSMA work groups related to the certification of integrated SIMs and the accreditation of SIM production sites.
TinyContainer, an abstraction and access control layer for containers on RIOT, to deploy an IoT logic adapted to a context (personalized user experience or deployment of an intelligence model) while controlling access to the exposed IoT resources.
This talk will focus on the motivations and architecture of TinyContainer, including a live demo. We would also like to spark discussion among the RIOT community on VM/interpreter syscall interface for bindings to RIOT.
